Creative in the Loop

Terms

Terms of service

Last updated 3 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between Salo Creative Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11825337, registered office 57 Worgret Road, Wareham, Dorset, BH20 4PH, United Kingdom) (“we”, “us”), and the organisation that creates an account (“you”). They cover Creative in the Loop, at creativeintheloop.com and app.creativeintheloop.com (the “service”).

By ticking the box when you create your organisation, you confirm you can agree to these terms on your organisation’s behalf.

1. What the service does

Creative in the Loop turns brand guidelines and other brand material into a “brand brain”: structured rules and guidance that AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot can read through a connector. You choose which assistants to connect and who can use each brand.

The service is for businesses and other organisations, not for personal use.

2. Early access

During early access the service is free. Features may change, appear or be removed, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We’ll do our best to keep your brands working and your material safe, but early access is provided as it is, without guarantees of availability.

Before paid plans start, we’ll email the account owners with at least 30 days’ notice, the prices and the date your trial ends. You won’t be charged unless you choose a plan.

3. Your account

You’re responsible for who you give access to: people you invite, people covered by a domain rule you set up, and anyone you give a link to. Keep links private, and remove them when they’re no longer needed. Tell us straight away at support@creativeintheloop.com if you think someone has access who shouldn’t.

4. Your material

You own the material you upload, import or save from an AI assistant, and the brand brains made from it (“your material”).

You give us permission to store, copy, analyse and process your material only to provide the service to you: converting it, showing it to the people you’ve given access to, and returning it to the AI assistants you’ve connected. That permission ends when your material is deleted.

You confirm you have the right to use your material in this way, including material that belongs to your clients. Don’t upload anything you aren’t allowed to share with us.

We don’t use your material to train AI models, and we don’t share it with other customers. Our AI provider, Anthropic, does not train its models on data sent through its commercial API.

5. AI assistants and AI output

When you connect an AI assistant, your material is sent to that assistant when someone asks it a question. Your use of each assistant is under your own agreement with its provider (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Microsoft), not these terms.

AI assistants and our conversion can make mistakes. A brand brain is a tool to help people work, not a substitute for their judgement. Check anything important, such as legal claims, figures or regulated wording, before you publish it. We aren’t responsible for what an AI assistant produces or for how it’s used.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t use the service to:

  • upload material that’s unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights
  • try to get into accounts, brands or systems you haven’t been given access to
  • interfere with the service, test its security without our written agreement, or overload it on purpose
  • resell or rebrand the service without our written agreement

We may suspend access that breaks these rules. Where we can, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

7. Personal data

Your material may include personal data, for example names in a guidelines document or photos of people. For that data you are the controller and we are your processor. We will:

  • process it only to provide the service, and on your instructions as set out in these terms
  • make sure our staff and contractors who can see it are bound by confidentiality
  • keep it secure with appropriate technical and organisational measures
  • use only the sub-processors listed in our privacy notice, and give you notice before adding new ones so you can object
  • help you respond to requests from people exercising their data rights, and with security incidents, impact assessments and consultations with the regulator, as far as is reasonable
  • tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach affecting your material
  • delete or return it when your account ends, as in section 9
  • give you the information you reasonably need to show we’re meeting these obligations

How we handle personal data about you and your team, such as your sign-in details, is set out in our privacy notice at creativeintheloop.com/privacy.

8. Fees

Early access is free. When paid plans start, the prices, billing period and what happens if a payment fails will be shown before you choose a plan, and form part of these terms.

9. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time from Account, or by emailing support@creativeintheloop.com. We can close it with 30 days’ notice, or straight away if you seriously break these terms.

When an account closes or is paused, your brands stop answering AI assistants. You can still sign in and export your material for 90 days. After that we delete it, and we’ll email the account owners before we do. Deleted material may stay in our backups for up to 7 days before it’s overwritten.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Otherwise, we aren’t liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the greater of £100 and the fees you paid us in those 12 months.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll email the account owners at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can close your account before then.

12. Transfer

We may transfer this agreement to another company in our group, or to a company that takes over the service. We’ll tell you if that happens. Your rights under these terms won’t be reduced as a result.

13. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
